The Voith Transmission has not fully engaged in the selected direction. Engine power is not available on the affected vehicle.
- If maintenance intervention is not immediately possible e.g. the unit is in service, try changing the direction of the transmission when the unit is at a stand. You should wait 30 seconds between shifts, this may resolve the issue. The issue can be self induced by not waiting a sufficient amount of time between direction shifts.
- If possible check the Voith Controller for any error LED's (E1 > E4) and record this information.
- If possible using the Voith Controller software (VTBSWin) interrogate the Voith Controller memory for fault information. viewing the 'Live Data 'The 'End of Travel' sensors should be checked for correct received voltage (4Vdc and 1Vdc) within VTBSWin.
- Rectify as required.
- It is possible that the Gearbox has a damaged Selector Shaft or other internal components.
